I write horror
My real name is Chris Stevens. I live in Virginia. The reason I go by E. T. Brother is sort of a joke. I used to go on internet forums and clown around. I was a cut up, a prankster. I would say something, then say "it wasn`t me, it was my evil twin brother that did it."
Some on the forum shortened it, and would say ET did it, well ET reminds me of a lovable alien trying to phone home. It does not sound very scary, so I made it ETB, and when I started to write, I decided E. T. Brother sounded better. It sounds more interesting and a little scary if you say it just right. So that is why I go by E. T. Brother. Oh by the way, I do not have a twin brother, or do I, who can say for sure. Mwahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaa.
What evil laugh, I didn`t hear anything. I think you have an active imagination, you will be telling me, you hear voices, screams, and evil laughs before long. Mwahaahaahaahaahaahaahaahaa.

I know the voices aren`t real, but they come up with some pretty good ideas.

Exit 31
Exit 31 appears to be a normal exit, just like any other off the highway, and most of the time it is just that, but some times it is anything but normal. Most of the time exit 31 puts you on the highway to Pleasantview but occasionally reality becomes thin and a door opens into a parallel universe.
When that happens Exit 31 puts you onto the highway for Raef. Raef spelled backwards spells fear and if you ever drive through that doorway that is exactly what you will get, fear.
Raef is a place where your fears and nightmares become reality because Raef is the hometown of the boogieman. Pray you never get off Exit 31 and drive through that doorway or your fears and nightmares will become your reality. To read the teaser go to I am in the process of reworking Exit 31. Ryan Driscoll is a 45 year old history professor at the local collage. Leaving collage after classes one day he sees a pretty blonde woman walking toward him, her face morphs and changes into the face of a monster, a fiend, then it changes back to normal. The woman walks past, Ryan stops walking, turns to watch her. The woman looks back, smiles, revealing a mouthful of sharp fangs, and she winks at him. The incident scares Ryan quite badly, he tries to convince himself the face didn`t change, but he keeps coming back to that wink, and it convinces him that the face did change. Ryan has seen his first pretender but it won`t be the last.
Ryan begins to see them everywhere before long, most of the time he doesn`t see the face change, the pretenders can control their faces pretty well, but they can`t control their eyes, they flicker. Their eyes flicker back and forth from human eyes to snake eyes.
